And I get that they turned themselves in to turn over a new leaf but I don’t understand why they didn’t tip off the police about Akira’s drug smuggling. His gang didn’t even know what to do when he got shot cause they didn’t want their hideout raided.
Masami kept him alive as a witness, and regardless of if Akira wanted his boy crush locked up or not, he would’ve done time for illegal possession of a firearm anyway. Just seemed like a very obvious way to get rid of him for good.
Aside from that I would’ve liked to see how Masami’s departure from the group played out.
