Like fr why do so many “female knight” manga/manha/manhua/webcomic/etc make female knights out to he “strong but doubted by anyone they meet for the first time” like bro i get this is a fantasy world with old school social concepts, but as an author YOU CAN CHOOSE WHAT SOCIAL ISSUES YOUR WORLD HAS. women in our world are consistently ignored/doubted/harassed/etc for just existing. Authors shouldn’t have to have include misogyny as a reason for the ML(s) to be like “oH wOw ThIs WoMaN iS sTrOnG” like shut the fuck up. don’t make a very real, very important social concept into a plot device AND ONLY a plot device. A world where accomplishments are treated with fucking respect no matter what your identity is brilliant.
