no queer baiting? like on first glance it’s “oh god it’s queer baiting” but actually its known that Liz is a female, but the knights she interacts with and trains, treat her like she should be treated (with RESPECT). None of the cadets/knights are misogynistic, that we’ve seen, and that’s SO FUCKING RARE IN MANGA. Like fr why do so many “female knight” manga/manha/manhua/webcomic/etc make female knights out to he “strong but doubted by anyone they meet for the first time” like bro i get this is a fantasy world with old school social concepts, but as an author YOU CAN CHOOSE WHAT SOCIAL ISSUES YOUR WORLD HAS. women in our world are consistently ignored/doubted/harassed/etc for just existing. Authors shouldn’t have to have include misogyny as a reason for the ML(s) to be like “oH wOw ThIs WoMaN iS sTrOnG” like shut the fuck up. don’t make a very real, very important social concept into a plot device AND ONLY a plot device. A world where accomplishments are treated with fucking respect no matter what your identity is brilliant.

this has been nearly 100 chapters of the FL going “i’m totally getting a divorce” but she acts like a total pile of mush with her husband. ig it’s “plot” but c’mon, it’s lowkey annoying when the MCs suck ASS at communication. here’s my hypothesis - og FL/author is the sick kid our FL met as a child, who wants it ALL. which is wild, considering she doesn’t even try to build bonds w others, she only focuses on K-dog and trashing the “villainess.” like c’mon, without her needless interjections into the story she would’ve still ended up as a duchess. a duchess who would never have to worry about money/status/etc. her greed is her downfall… this could also just be a red herring though, but i doubt it. (watch me be wrong lol) - the older bro is gonna be disinherited bc he’s so obsessed the og FL so the younger bro (our boy K-dog) is gonna inherit. tbh the older bro might try and kill the og FL because of her blatant attempts to gain affection from a man who isn’t him. (like a typical yandere). or he’ll try and kill K-dog which would ruin his relationship w his father.. who might disinherit the dumbass. - i think maybe the og villainess might’ve been the intended heroine? the world exists beyond the author, who is basically just a “world director” not a “world maker.” maybe she was supposed to be more but due to the “plot” she was reduced to merely a villainess destined to die. that might be a stretch though, who knows.
