God it took FOREVER to get to the point. The ML is dogshit at communication and thinks that the ONLY way to protect his partner is by keeping secrets and shouldering the burden ENTIRELY on his own. Like- Babe you aren’t even the main character of the hero’s tale- her fate is to be an OP badass and it literally took like 50 chapters for her to become that because of the ML. 50 FUCKIN CHAPTERS- THERE ARE ONLY 70 IN TOTAL.
