Biting the Tiger
Sequel/spin-off: https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/around_the_tiger/ Huh. Okay, for the most part I really enjoyed this. I love that there were no toxic characters - down to Yunho's ex boyfrend, who may still be in love with him, but ultimately just wants him to be happy. Naroo, the love rival, is the most precious bean - he is so adorable and lovely, a ball of sunshine. I want to see more of him tbh, and that's wild for the rival (at least in the beginning) to be so endearing. My only real issues were in a few instances of Yunho and Hanwool's behavior. When Yunho found out about Hanwool creating the monster, he was initially very harsh with him, which is understandable. But when he invites Hanwool back, the first thing he says it that he hates him and hates hearing him say his name?? Then proceeds to apologize. Like what. ... The other thing is the ending. It felt very, very rushed and honestly really unsatisfying. Hanwool comes back and yunho discovers him walking on the street, and despite HAVING HIS MEMORIES, the first thing Hanwool says is "Do I know you?" And says he was just messing with Yunho. WHAT THE FUCK? Idk, the whole ending was a bit unsatisfying. But they are very sweet together, and I love Naroo to death. I don't regret reading it at all. ... Side stories: https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/biting_the_tiger_side_stories/ ... Naroo and Kyunghoon's story? Or Biting the Tiger from their perspective? https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/around_the_tiger/ I absolutely want more Naroo but I was actually hoping for Yunho's ex and that window guy. I think other side characters may be featured too though.
