I'll give up on my first love starting today!
The Devil Eats Love
Not bad, but not great. It's short so I don't mind but I wouldn't re-read it.
Netkama Punch!!!
This was a real rollercoaster ride. I did have a good time reading it, but the reviews and tags led me to believe this would be a silly little rom-com and it definitely was not that. For most of the story it like more of a psychological thriller honestly. Both Seyeong and Heejae are hauling around tons of emotional baggage, but Heejae is an actual psychopath IMO. Yeah they were kinda cute in the end, but his response to the initial situation was absolutely terrifying and he did so much fucked up shit to Seyeong that I never felt any sympathy for him, or really rooted for them to get together. Like if Seyeong had actually been a girl in real life, this would have a horror tag. On that note, I’m VERY happy that this was shounen ai - if it had been full of the typical rapey yaoi sex on top of the already somewhat disturbing plot, I wouldn’t have been able to stick with it. Anyway - as long as you go in with the right expectations, it’s pretty fun. It’s frequently hilarious, the art is good, and I ended up with an unreasonable amount of screenshots of MC’s reactions to the unhinged stalker who just moved into his apartment one day and refused to leave.
Seishun Radio Pinchers
Adorable, with an interesting premise.
