This was wonderful. It felt natural and real. No drama, no real angst, just two people who are drawn to each other giving it a try. I adore them. It was so nice to see them take it slow, get to know each other and get comfortable with each other before doing anything physical. And then they didn’t jump straight to penetrative sex, they did other things while working up to it. They also looked like regular guys, with regular dicks. Perfection honestly.

Mixed feelings on this one. On one hand, it was fun and interesting and actually challenged the hard line gay/straight divide we often see in yaoi. The environment had no homophobia whatsoever, and there were a few mentions of people being verse. Seisei is an absolute power bottom and Sakuya is honestly adorable. My only real issue with the story is that the focus on top/bottom behavior was so dumb and rigid. Like you can joke around about it but even if you're 100% one or the other in the bedroom, it doesn't have anything to do with your personality or attitude in regular life, or how you talk or act during sex even. There are all kinda of sexualities and preferences and being so set on top/bottom, boy/girl, masculine/feminine is a really heteronormative way of viewing the world. But overall it was cute. If only Kazuma hadn't assaulted both Seisei and Sakuya... not interested in his story honestly.

So lovely. Sweet and sad but hopeful. Kengo is the greenest flag, I love that he went out of his way to make sure Suguru knew that Yuuma could still be in his heart even if he moved on. Also notable, tan puppy seme. The sex was very loving and their relationship is very healthy.

Re-read 10/18, so fucking sweet. I love their relationship. It’s really the ideal friends to lovers story, they just adore each other. Skip 6.5, creepy ass sister. Tbh 6 is kinda annoying too with the whiny bartender but sei and bunny are still so cute.

This was so good. They’re adorable as ever, now well into their relationship and dealing with new places and people. They themselves had no drama, it was all external. On Jigoo’s side a pushy girl who won’t take no for an answer ~ but once he tells her the truth, she understood and wished them well. He shouldn’t have HAD to tell her, but still. She was much better than Juhyun’s shitty college friend. At first I felt sad for him and wanted to see him find someone, but he turned into a real asshole and definitely not an actual friend. Thankfully Jigoo and Juhyuk have a strong bond and excellent communication skills, so they resolved things quickly, but I was not satisfied with how the situation with Dowoon was tied up. Special shout out to how hot and intimate and realistic their sex life was. They didn’t go straight to anal and when they did they prepped and worked through it together. They frequently do non-penetrative things instead, they’re considerate of each other, and most of all they both look like they’re having FUN. It makes such a huge difference.
