Beta Count Has Changed
F-Class Destiny Hunter
Ok I'll be fcking honest. Just read the damn webtoon, not the novel. I usually prefer to say "read the novel, not this abomination" but likeeeee, this one is the opposite. Idefk but the way the author of the novel writes his/her sht is so... Arse cheeks. Halfway through reading the novel I was soooooooo tired of it already. I simply finished it for the sake of finishing the damn thing (and imo, thats the worst fcking feeling ever). This reminds me of how SL was written. Fyi, this is not a compliment, I hateeee SL's novel. The way the story only focuses on the mc... and how the plot heavily highlighted the mc only... Yep. SL and this one are twinnies. If you are thinking "Well, the female lead is badass and she's written well." go and apologize to ALL females in existence cos what are you on about?? She was literally 'programmed' by 'fate' to obsessively live for the mc alone in all of their lives. Free the girlie! Her role is mc's girl (basically) and no one even bats an eye?? Don't fck w me yall, I bite. I meannnnn, the mc's personality is not bad. He's not as bland as SJW of SL but stillllllll the author did him dirty for writing him in such a basic arse heavily male fantasy/oriented story (ew). Do you think dudebros actively search up stories like this to fuel their imaginations of living a badarse life and having a DEVOTED girl by their side? Sad. You def do NOT want to be reincarnated as an extra or worse- a villain here. I bet if we line up all the villains of the whole story, individually get their iq level and add them to one person (for the funsies)- the added value is not even gonna touch the average 85 lol theyre a bunch of mindless sheeps frfr My most fav character is Dok Gojun simply bcos he is funny. He's like the pretty clown of the whole story and him butting in occasionally to spice up the conversation is how I imagine what it feels like to surprisingly receive a xmas present from your parents as a grown adult. I did not expect anything but still happy to get them. Overall, the fact that I finished the novel even tho it was by force... Is, likeeeee, a semi? positive? thing? If it was good I'll most likely cruise through the story but on the other hand, if the story stinks sooooo damn much then, I might drop it then and there, you know? So as an optimist, it ain't all bad. But as a pessimist? Bro. I prefer to reread orv's novel for the 1828383839399292th times than experience again the way I forced myself to finish this sht.
My Body Has Been Possessed By Someone
(Bcos I already commented my full review of the story, might as well put it here permanently) The story is chaotic... BUT FUN A bit cringey at times but meh I read far stinky stories before. This one ain't bad. The incestuous relationship (wc is a bait fyi) is a bit uncomfortable to read at first but later on, it's manageable. My years of experience in disassociating myself when I read def helps me a lot to cope faster w the plot. Honestly, I like how the author decided to go for the (semi) reverse harem route. Did not expect that sp bcos readers nowadays are allergic to harem lol But! I kinda wish they push the 'reverse harem' to its limit. Like, why use the multiple timeline bs? Just go all out in one timeline like a champ! Come on. You already wrote such crazy plot, whats stopping you to COMMIT to it?? Don't use shtty excuses to why theyre fcking eo. Give me pure insanity! Give me the spice! Give me the drama! Don't use the 'alternative universe' excuse to make your already fcked up plotlines less... Uh, Fcked. Don't give me the 'they MUST do it bcos fl might yadayadablahblah' bs embrace the chaos you started damn it!
Lost in the Cloud
The Genius Idol’s Strategy to Stardom
Ok I'll be honest. I'm a novel reader and this is my review of the story. The overall plot is a 3 and a half stars for me but I gave this a 4 stars mostly bcos of the side characters- sp Ban Yohan. The first half of the story is actually great, the latter half is... well, let's just say... um, it was a disappointment. This story is your typical patriotic shts, foreign fans=bad, kfans=good. I get it, love your own or smth lol But at a certain point, as a reader, I'm just hopeful that I'll get to read an idol wn w no such discrimination towards a side of the fandom :( It's not just the blatant racial bias that I'm having a hard time coping w, the fact that it also felt like the plot is only moving bcos a drama/controversy is going on feels so... cheap to me. Ok back to the characters. Let's talk about my favorite, Ban Yohan. The dude is genuinely so silly. I love him a lot. That one time this geek presented a thesis on how parasocial relationship between idols and fans is unhealthy... Unprovoked, mind you lol oh boi I genuinely laughed out loud! His interaction w the mc makes the mc (yes, mc) bearable for me as well. (Yeah, I don't quite like the mc)... About the mc... I just think compared to his other group members he fell short (in terms of likability). The mc is cute at first but I was looking for more from him- I didn't get that 'more', sadly.
