there’s nothing wrong with it, only complaint is that it’s plot is very linear and straight to the point, and so are all the character including the protagonist, as though they’re vanilla flavoured. the dad and brother are the only that adds spice to the story, but so far they’re not properly utilised. this would have been an amazing read if there was more spice in the protagonist’s personality and in the story but i don’t think that’ll be happening. like sure she had a bad childhood, but at this point i’d rather have read her childhood and how she struggled to survive. currently on chapter 42 and will keep reading during spare time or to fill boredom.

plot progresses sooo slow, to the point I would get sleepy just trying to get on with the story. The story has a lot of possible directions to go, which is what inspires me as a reader to keep going. but even now reading up to chapter 114, many questions are still left unanswered. so as to not reread the plot again to remember the storyline when I read future chapters I'll be summarising so that I don't have to reread it: *latte spends 10+ years writing novels etc because she wasn't able to encounter any of the main characters during this time period and hence gets her pocket money from the royalties she made. *skipped a few chapters* *latte wants to befriend ibelin (main protagonist) to secure her safety in the novel, so the male leads won't end up killing her * fish #1 and #2 has a bad first impression of latte, as though she was just a pebble * signs of antagonistic traits is hinted from ibelin. such as during the festival when Arwin is first seen separating from the original storyline of the novel - I have a prediction that Ibelin may also be an isekai character? or maybe that was how her character always was, it was just never unearthed because there was no character such as latte to uncover it. *Kenneth (fish #2) and latte become friends because latte defends him from his stalkers and sympathises with his difficulties of being stalked by saesang fans. In later chapters he is more passive of Latte's appearances and hints that he has some internal confusions (which is not yet revealed at this point) *Arwin and Latte's ship is sailed, not officially but it has sailed. The doll, dancing on the castle rooftop, Arwin teleporting her to his tower, triggering dialogues with Arwin that is only supposed to trigger with a love interest, Arwin installing a gps on her doll to track her and him saving her from the big pig monster that Peridot (the antagonist) sets her up because she refused to cooperate with her to betray Ibelin. oh and Arwin kills or mentally kills Period (unclear as of now) because she almost killed Latte.
