I don't know how I feel about the main character being a WW2 Japanese veteran, you know, because of the enslavement, harrowing sexual abuse, and mass killings in East Asia...

Riveting story, an interesting dynamic, and good art. The only thing I feel uncomfortable with is simply letting him loose and then LOVING HIM?! He's a child rapist and a murderer!! That's unforgivable in modern society and so it should stay.

A tad slow for my taste but overall a good read.
