This is one of my long-time favorite yaoi romances! The cover is a little deceiving - it kind of indicates that this story would be just sex on fluff on sex on fluff, haha. This is very not the case!! ***SPOILER NOTE: There may be some slight spoilers below, but I did my best to not include anything major The story starts out with the beautiful uke, and the unsavoury situations he finds himself in, due to rotten guys taking advantage of his friendly personality. He has a sad back story, but the manga weaved in some satisfying closure. My only wish is that I had more of it to read! It concluded a bit abruptly :( The seme, on the other hand, is a handsome chef also who also has some sad memories of his past. He seems very indifferent in nature, though the story has a good way of portraying his conflicting emotions, under the hood so to speak haha. The only issue I had was during the reveal - Sei-san, why did you think Misumi-san would be able to read your mind?? Obviously he was afraid of getting hurt because he, very understandably so, thought you wouldn't reciprocate!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ There is some very good tension build up between the two, and I found myself rooting for both characters near the end. This manga depicts their secret love for each other so well, which made the eventual reveal so satisfying!! The delightfully interesting food and sake details sprinkled in through out the manga, were just the cherry on top. I loved it, and would highly recommend, for sure!

When I was young, and my imagination ran wild, I would often wonder if the objects around me were actually conscious in some way. Could they see what I was going through? How hard I was working? If they could, would they want to be my friend? Pretty simple and innocent haha. Well, this manga is definitely a sort of realization of that fantasy... though obviously not so innocent. This story strikes me as one that would touch a lonely girl's heart. I really appreciated it for what it was, and I loved that the quilt's and table's love for her was so pure and complete. The only gripe I have, is that I wish the mangaka delved more into how their materializations were able to come back. Inquiring minds want to know, so we can be assured that our MC knows how to not lose them again I would definitely recommend this, if you're in need of some wholesome smut.
