Our Fmc gets sucked into this novel and starts trying to fix some of the issues before she gets executed (in 3 days) she releases some prisoners and begins to bring people over to her side. It was revealed that Duke Rez was drugging her majesty, and he and his co-conspirators were executed. Julia is trying to use those that were originally loyal to her, in order to restore the empire and keep her head attached.
