What's with this strange dream?!
this is honestly probably my favorite webcomic I’ve ever read. With the perfect balance of goofy, funny, interesting magic, a compelling love story that didn’t fall into cliches and pointless misunderstandings. Honestly it’s one of the first times I’ve seen such sexy and well done loving and consensual sex scenes that feel like you’d actually feel good. Just a very well done comic and love story, well plotted, executed, paced, and well told. Loved it.
The Uninvited Guest On My Shoulder
Monster and the Beast
This is up there with some of the best stories I’ve come across. The storytelling is on point. So well done how it gives you little pieces of information and mystery, making you think the monster and the beast are awful and subverting expectations while weaving together such a heartfelt story. Well done and so cute.
Dawn of the Dragon
For a story with sex pretty much every other chapter, I’m really invested in the plot. The author has done a good job writing a story that tugs at your heart, I can’t wait for season 2. That transition with the butterfly at the end of season 1 was awesome. And I love the lore. I do get tried of the gratuitous sex every other chapter. Sex scenes should serve a purpose to deepen the relationship and fuel the story. I honestly really love this story. It was well done to be heart wrenching- an epic story of love spanning centuries. I definitely cried. The art is beautiful and the story is well told. But I don’t like how disjoined the sex scenes feel from the intimate moments of the story. It’s like suddenly the story stops and “insert sex scene” happens and they are in the middle of sex with all the in your face graphics and sound effects and exaggerated lewd drawings that are this author’s style. I’m not knocking the style and I quite like smut in my stories but all the emotional tension and intimacy is missing from these scenes. I just want them to slowly ease into it and talk to each other slowly before building to a frenzy. Instead they feel flat and one note rather than meaningful.
