I thought this was a cute story, but definitely an early one for the author. You can just tell that she’s gotten better with more practice. The storytelling is not quite there yet, it’s a bit anticlimactic with the ending being a little unexpected. I also feel like the tone jumps around from cute and fluffy to oh my god suddenly we are seeing the main character be brutally stabbed by a character who was previously sort of a good guy who has lost it. The tragedy of the other characters makes it harder to enjoy what could have been an otherwise kind of fluffy story. Having dark and cute/funny elements side by side is not inherently a problem, but it has to be done with finesse and this story just didn’t pull it off. I enjoyed it though overall.

This is one of, maybe my top, absolute favorite BL mangas. An example of excellent storytelling, you can tell how much effort went into the story, plot, characterization, worldbuilding, and definitely the art. Pluto has such a unique art style with strong defined lines and angles that works really well for the story with demons and supernatural elements. I really love the story and the characters, who all feel decently fleshed out and relatable. It’s one I’ve read twice so far and will likely reread. It’s an absolute masterpiece of the genre and hilarious to boot, making me laugh many times.

This one is so cute and funny, I loved it, the art style is cool and the premise is unique and fun. Really good.

Liked it, but felt like the story was missing some resolution and there should be more, maybe another season at some point but it seems increasingly unlikely.

Some of the pet play and fact that he was a dog is a little too much for me, but I enjoy the story overall. I like the opposing dynamics of the main character wanting to be dominated in bed but then having the upper hand in the rest of their life by understanding the human world.

I loved this story. The art is fantastic and the story is compelling. I’m always a sucker for magical schools but this one works really well. Read on tapas.
