Cute story, but I never really felt a lot of depth to the characters. Fluffy and cute and very non-angsty but I don’t think I’ll reread again.

Oddly fluffy and wholesome for a BL smut about gangsters. Not much depth to the openly horny and honest with his feelings alpha and world weary formerly in debt as an escort omega, but they are different versions of their initial character description than I have seen before.

I think I read this through twice and enjoyed it. The second couple was fun and I wished we had gotten to see their kids now that one turned from beta to omega.

It’s so fucked at the beginning but I gotta say the author is doing a great job with the redemption arc and the Taeju figuring out how wrong he was and trying to make it up to Euihyun. It’s one of the most interesting and well done redemption arcs I’ve seen. He’s still an asshole and a pervert, it’s not like his personality changed but he grew as a person to understand how to be a better person and understand his impact on others. This story is by no means perfect but I really enjoyed it. I wished Euihyun had gotten a bit more of a self-actualization arc outside of his relationship with Taeju. But I really enjoyed it and thought it was a good example of a redemption arc done right. One of the few BLs I’ve read where it actually delivered as satisfying redemption arc of “forgive but don’t forget.” I also just really liked the art and humor in this comic.

Honestly I forgot how good this is. The storyline between the leads of one guy being just so against dating for his own mental blocks and immaturity is so funny and interesting that it really gets you hooked. One of the things I like is how egalitarian their dynamic feels despite being alpha and omega. Like they aren’t always falling into the male female gender roles that usually plague this genre for the most part.

I really love how the two alphas swoon for their omega and his coolness and big boyfriend energy. And the fact that they can be a 3p bond because the two alphas have been secretly fucking is so funny.

Sexy story but man did we have to have the brother rape plot line? Can we just not?
