I already heard of similar plots, buth this one is really well handled and the characters grow on you. The art is pleasant to the eye; the human characters are well portraited as physical design (and the ml is super cool), while the artist use some simplified traits for animals (the small version dragon, the turtle etc) that gives to the story a dreamy vibe and make me think of fables
