Can't Think Straight
Cute start and definitely funny Edit 1# Woahh they freaky fr Edit 2# writing this after chap 72, love that jayhyuk is so whipped now that he has been realistic with himself and I wish him all the well.
On or Off
This is the start of my tangent on why on and off is an absolute masterpiece of pacing and storytelling. When I tell you that this specific comic is very classy with the way, it goes about it romance. It doesn’t dwell too hard on the sex scenes, and find time to make the emotional parts really hit. The overarching theme of unexpected romance and making your goals a possibility it is really inspiring and it’s really just sweet to see how these characters are so flashed out rather than just tropes upon tropes. It’s lighthearted and it’s definitely worth the read.
Kiss and Death
a little messy a little chaotic, but if you’re into that, then go right ahead, this is a supernatural story surrounding a kid who dies and the Grim Reaper says he has to fall in love with someone. it is a roller coaster of emotions and honestly, I liked every single love interest for this character, I did love that I was right in the end and that he would end up with the blonde guy because I love being right, but my real calm is the fact that they did not get freaky with him having the glasses on #LetThemHaveGlasses that is my personal opinion, but overall very good. I think the Grim Reaper definitely has some affection for the moment and I would’ve liked more angst with the last few chapters because it feels very polarizing for it to be very very sad than all of a sudden everyone’s happy. I would give this a 4.5 out of five pretty solid pretty good
High Clear
Cute cute! So wholesome and shit, that’s really all I got to say, I thought the cover was ugly at first and I was real skeptical but it ended up looking very nice
Romance, But Not Romantic
You already know what I’m going to say, this was so good and so refreshing for its genre Omegaverse, Areta space for the characters to be real and genuine, and have flaws and habits, and really stick up for themselves in crucial moments where you don’t see in a lot of Omegaverse manga. And it was so freaking funny, which gets it many points. I highly recommend because it’s a certified banger.
December
Controversial opinion, but I think this manga ended right where it needed to end, if we had more than 50 chapters to explain what happens to his family and the others that shin beat up, it wouldn’t have been interesting nor surprising or even all that important to the plot itself. Overall, this plot is about the main character healing from his own trauma with dominant alphas. by forgetting what the original plot was trying to do you kind of obscure the emotional arc of the main character so in that I believe that they ended the ending right where it needed to go and I would appreciate side stories with like them having kids, but it’s not needed in the overall arc Also I recognize the art style immediately as that one Mystic messenger fan comic from literal years ago, and I remember the drama it made so iconic
