The Girl Who Married the Big Snake
SLIGHT SPOILER ️ Didn't expect to get very far into this but here we are. The story isn't bad. Weird as hell, but not bad. I enjoyed the character dynamics and backstories. Then, when the kids got introduced I enjoyed their little sidestories as well. I even felt bad for the little snake. I actually found myself liking the big snake more and more as time went on. He's sweet and funny but still has some depth to him. I could live without the sex scenes though...
Paladin's Eden
Story was pretty bad. Felt bad for the "priest".
I, a Virgin, Became Friends with Benefits with a Grim Reaper
This should've ended at chapter 17 or 18 cause that would've been a fine place to end it instead of that half-assed one that was just sex then abrupt end. Art is pretty ugly as well, especially with the Grim Reaper and his hands.
Hellstar Remina
I'm not gonna lie, this might be one of Junji Ito's worse stories. Even that "happy" ending (which rarely happens in his stories) was ass. Left way too much unanswered questions and left you feeling confused (more so than usual, becuase this IS Ito Junji afterall). Wish that second story had more chapters instead because it was WAY more interesting than the main. But it ended with unanswered questions too like wtf was up with the plane and flyers? How was she able to stitch up that many people all by herself? Is she not actually the killer but just went crazy from the isolation? We'll never know.
