Tadatada Suki to Iu Dake de
Well it’s uhhh. It’s ok. Not much to say about it, common trope of delinquent actually being a sweet/soft dude an heart and the popular handsome guy. Pretty basic stuff and it was rlly predictable and unoriginal. But it’s what you would expect so it didn’t disappoint me in any way since I knew what I was getting. 5-6/10
Otaku Kimo
Just a simple one shot. It’s meh but the twist was pretty wholesome. Didn’t mind it. 6-7/10
My Girlfriend is the Cutest Girl in the Whole World
Pretty wholesome and cute. Just a simple one shot. Could see this as a 4 koma panel/ 3 page manga slice of life/ comedy esc thing. 6-7/10
This Fluffy Love
Uhhhhh where do I start? It was ok? Of course I should t have expected professional type work from like. A manga artist since of course this is self published and free to read on webtoon and tapas (I personally read it on tapas) and it is.. interesting to say the least. The pacing is awful and character decisions often make no sense and seem VERY out of character and sudden. I’m not a big fan of how the series handles a lot of its topics but some of the characters are likeable. Like my personal favourite has to be the male leads step mother. She’s such a fun emotional person who, in my personal opinion has the most character growth and depth. I’m not even gonna lie, the most bland characters in the webtoon are legit the main characters. It’s actually crazy. Even characters who get like 2 chapters of time to showcase who they are, have more depth than the goddamn main characters. The main characters are plain, generic and sometimes plain unlikeable. There are so many times I just wanted to punch the mc’s in the face. And honestly the confession scene wasn’t rewarding at all because it felt like there was no actual development between the characters. It was just weirdly sudden for the male interest to start liking the main character. I guess I felt disappointed since I thought the story was going to be better than it actually was. 5-6/10
Player <3 Player
Loved this manhua, it has great characters, a simple but well written plot, good chemistry between said characters, great humour and is overall a really fun story that doesn’t go for longer than it needs to. It also doesn’t hover on misunderstandings to stretch its plot which I really like. Highly recommend it, it’s a great read. Wish there was more of it (like side stories). 8-9/10
Drugless Sex 2
This actually surprised me. This manga is the sequel to a chapter from a series of one shots called “Drugless sex” this being a continuation of the second chapter. I actually enjoyed this manga and it’s surprisingly wholesome at points and I loved the fact that the characters age during the course of the manga going from high schoolers, to their early/ mid twenties to lastly their 30’s. But of course the downsides are the explicit scenes, which is just because of the fact that I don’t enjoy reading them since I prefer shounen ai. But the story had an interesting well written plot, great characters and a nice satisfying ending though it is apparently still going with more volumes that haven’t been translated yet. 7-8/10
Itonaga-kun no Koi no Ito
Very wholesome and cute, honestly there’s not much I can say about it. I like how the misunderstandings were solved quickly and how the first volume was completely built on a bunch of misunderstandings which you think would be annoying but it’s actually pretty funny. 6-7/10
The Best Smell
Not much to say about this one. It’s just pure wholesome fluff that will brighten your mood. I recommend it. 7/10
One Reason Why He Hates Me
Shirt but sweet. Just some wholesome fluff that you can read in one sitting. The concept is cute and the characters are very loveable/ huggable. Highly recommend 8/10
