it's been 10+ chapters and nothing's happened. as in, it doesn't even feel like the story's progressed. we're basically still seeing the summary play out. i don't even know what haeil did to pado that was so bad that they're not on speaking terms. i love their designs but sometimes i feel bwat is v overhyped bc the overarching concept is usually interesting but the execution is p mid

guideverse with lore! i heard this would be more mellow but i really hope we get to see the some of the grittier aftereffects of guide and esper creation edit: i'm disappointed so far

my feelings for this are a bit conflicted. the uke is using the seme as a protection against bad luck so he's with the guy out of self-preservation but also seems to care about him-- on a platonic level. the seme gets basic human decency from the uke and falls hard, but also uses manipulative tactics to ensure the uke stays with him. it's marketed as cute and wholesome which doesn't jive with me. i like the uke's sense of agency but their relationship is weird and my brain isn't reconciling

i LOVE to hate on this and talk shit about it practically every week but joke's on me bc i'm still here waiting for new chapters to drop
