can't get into it for some reason

i don't think i followed along with the story and there were actually too many sex scenes, but theo and ian are precious. tbh however, if my enemy decimated my land and ppl, no matter how remorseful they look i'd still wanna get revenge. i also don't know why, but the way certain concepts are introduced, no matter how unassuming, is hilarious.

the cover and the contents do not match the actual story is so unserious and i love it. on a second read, it's also nice to see a story where the characters transcend their "biological programming" and are with each other for who they are instead of who they're expected to be. oddly sweet? dark skin uke in second to last chapter

kyung and woojin cock block each other based on a misunderstanding. ending was a little lackluster but the first chapter got me HOOKED, woojin is so hot lol

lol it looks super wholesome from the outset but there's definitely a few layers of toxicity built in. like imagine changing yourself not to just be better but tailoring every bit of yourself to your crush's preferences in the hopes they'll like you back, identity who black hair dude bottom

it's not common for characters to see how bad certain ppl are for them, but gyojin knows and leaves no room for interpretation that the door is CLOSED. you go girl

i feel so bad for the older bro, he took so much responsibility and shouldered a bunch of misplaced blame and tried to distance himself from it, all for his younger bro to strongarm his way back into his life. sometimes love needs stricter boundaries, looks like the older bro couldn't help but give into the younger bro's needs, no matter how messed up and twisted it was.

gorgeous art, super slow pacing but it's pretty engaging. i'm only finding it ok bc while lyle is an absolute sweetheart ash is another story. in the earlier chapters i was basically his hypeman since bc he's so dang charming, but when the smallest conflict came up he dealt with it like a complete douchebag and the resolution was totally unsatisfactory for me. the thing with stories like this is it seems really sweet on the outside so characters like him get forgiven really easily even though they don't put in the work to understand why they're wrong and do better. the relationship also feels unbalanced, bc while ash can see lyle's vulnerabilities and has always seen him at least as an equal (or maybe even looked down on him to an extent), lyle always put ash on a pedastal, even at the point i stopped, which was where they decided to commit to their relationship. ash didn't try to make lyle feel like they're equals in partnership. ash's thoughts about lyle also felt a bit gross, kind of redpill-like, treating him like a cryptograph he needs to decrypt and categorize. his "i can't help myself"s could have been really hot if their relationship is on equal footing but in this case it just feels like he's taking advantage of lyle's affection for him.
