since the story will never be completed, it’s actually really sad and depressing? they say they’re happy with each other, but there’s so many kinks in their relationship that never got worked out and it feels like they’re willing to be miserable with each other. the side stories don’t look like it anything’s perking up either. it very much feels like an immature love, but they kind where they are not good for each other. they never addressed the homophobia, the imbalance in the relationship, the inferiority complex, the practically possessive-abusive nature of isolation. relationships are supposed to make each other better. this one doesn’t. their relationship is so incredibly flawed and fucked up
