mature version on other platforms this is one of the most disappointing stories i've ever come across, mostly bc the art looks so freaking gorgeous but the story and mc is such trash and there's no growth arcs to make it more palatable.

i haven't read a story yet where a family member very explicitly fucks their kid up the way the dad did in this one. it's super depressing.

it's always fun to see how collective a thought is, i was also pleasantly surprised this wasn't pwp. pretty whirlwind and has a bit of a chick flick vibe to it, i dug it. story is exactly as the title advertises, content contains what the cover advertises, but with a pretty serviceable plot on top.

i love that phi is the chaser and apollo's the one drawing the hard boundaries and taking responsibility as the older and more mature person. currently at vol 3 and rather than having romantic feelings, apollo's giving off a caretaker vibe, acknowledging phi's traumas and wanting to make sure he's ok. i think i'd like it to stay that way, but the rules are like, super on the nose foreshadowing. ch 16 aghhh apollo's so gentle and genuine i love it.

character designs are hot but if the story is completed i think that's all it had going for it?? i wish it were longer because it seemed like the story had potential. chaba's got a thing for crying ukes

guideverse with lore! i heard this would be more mellow but i really hope we get to see the some of the grittier aftereffects of guide and esper creation edit: i'm disappointed so far

ditched @12 wot, abandoning even tho there's a dark skin beefy looking uke? i couldn't take caleb's doormat personality. the story didn't have any sort of development. it seemed that all the characters were aimless and there weren't any points of progress at all. i spoiled the ending for myself and got upset that lou's dad was so stupid and short-sighted that he perpetrated the extinction of humanity for the lolz. the twist didn't even seem shocking bc his dad seemed like a turd from the very beginning. it just seemed like the creator cobbled all the elements they wanted without any regard for how it would actually turn out. if it's a tragedy, make the payoff worth it. it's too bad bc the cover art looked so good and the premise seemed interesante.
