maybe slice of life might not be for me? it feels really slow and i understand sung ho's situation is set up so he could make a connection with heobeom but that doesn't make it less frustrating to read. i was surprised to find out his kid is american, that his ex decided to go thru with the pregnancy without even discussing anything with him, and when he decided to be the father, that it was so ill-planned. while i can understand korea being a difficult life bottleneck, it should be a little less in the us even with its whole host of issues. when i come across series like this one where it's widely appreciated, i'm not sure if i should just get with the vibe and enjoy it for what it is. idk the backstory, which is honestly just a vehicle to get him into domestic happiness with heobeom, just really bothered me

i can't tell you how long i've waited for a middle eastern foreign prince to get railed, esp by a japanese dude bc there's sooo many stories in the reverse. the cover art was so promising, but this story was NOT it. it had a- what i feel- pretty poor message and the way it got hashed left a lot to be desired. i don't even know if all the characters are morally grey or just abominable. does the idea of a forced partnership due to biology make a character more sympathetic even tho they're a pedo who tried to kidnap and groom a kid? then there's the seme, who bit his crush knowing he could potentially change his gender, which opens up the door for more exploitation. this could be potentially compelling, but it wasn't. why couldn't this just be a run-of-the-mill story where a prince just wants to add another dude to his harem and they end up falling for each other in the process? but this time the prince gets bonked. they could even tussle for dominance. what was wrong with that?? two stars bc while i didn't like the story, lai was hot :-(.

this is really boring. the settings cycle between eating out, drinking, the workplace, and sex, but there's really nothing notable happening to keep me engaged. my cat is cute with one brain cell, but the top is not. is this pwp? slice of life? it's like the third title that annoyed me, but i've read 4-komas that are enjoyable even tho nothing ever happens. i like 19 days and i'm p sure that's slice of life. this convoluted universe is basically an omegaverse analog to get the banging going. i really wanted to like this bc the uke is really cute :-(.
