Eden (Hocco)
ch 1: mc (uke) is an undercover agent working for the national service investigating drug trafficking. he gets an opportunity to physically obtain evidence (i don't understand how evidence procurement works??) and sees that he may be putting himself in a dangerous situation. idk if it's because he's itching for some action, or if he's really green, but i would've thought he'd have the training to assess the surroundings and determine a course of action based on that. i'm sure service workers see wild things all the time, so maybe seeing people doped up at a gay sex party may be something they'd just mind their business on. but i think they'd just wait outside because a situation like that gives off all kinds of warning signs. i guess i'm disappointed mc didn't get a read on the the situation. idk if it's a wannabe hero complex or smtg but i did side eye him for being so myopic. ch2-3: uke is drugged up and ofc needs to get is fucked out of his system ch 4: stopped here the first time and i might recall why. he wanted to get back to the apt again without any help and i got frustrated that he didn't learn his lesson, because he didn't sound like he had any plans that would make him anymore successful the next time around. he commented that he'd get fired for being drugged up and i wonder if the system is messed up enough that they'd do that even though it was against his will. but what happened to the agents who seemed to be looking for him? in situations like these it'd be nice to have notes on the situational and cultural context on korean laws and public sentiment. eh gonna keep reading to see what happens
