their motivations to get together felt really superficial, which is fine, but it's made to seem deeper than it is. i can't understand the tattoo artist, who just started falling for the yakuza guy bc he comes in often and wined and dined him? and the yakuza guy saw "a vast amount of emptiness" surrounding the tattoo artist and suddenly feels charitable? their relationship feels stiff and i personally didn't get any chemistry from them. from what i gather in the comments and the story, it might be about overcoming certain tragedies and finding your one true love but the story was a bit of a slog to get thru even to ch 10. i started reading this bc the char design for the tattoo artist was nice but i didn't enjoy much else

the story itself is actually not that bad but even tho the bottom seems to be an adult in the workforce his body looked like a kid’s. the second cover fared a little better but i couldn’t get over it

i guess setup is important to me. i couldn’t get into this bc i don’t understand why doppelgängers are created in the first place, altho the point i left off seemed to be getting to that.

this is really boring. the settings cycle between eating out, drinking, the workplace, and sex, but there's really nothing notable happening to keep me engaged. my cat is cute with one brain cell, but the top is not. is this pwp? slice of life? it's like the third title that annoyed me, but i've read 4-komas that are enjoyable even tho nothing ever happens. i like 19 days and i'm p sure that's slice of life. this convoluted universe is basically an omegaverse analog to get the banging going. i really wanted to like this bc the uke is really cute :-(.

the first few chapters were really exciting bc it had the energy of an action series with the anticipation of there being eventual gei sex. the art style is great, it's graphical and reminiscent an action genre. however, the story is hard to follow along. it felt like the author had to hit certain beats, but it was hard to tie them all together organically. i gave it about 13 chapters and am still getting that same vibe. the author probably also put a lot of effort into lore and world building, but the disorienting nature of the story put me off wanting to learn more. i also don't think i'm interested in the main or side pairings, they're relatively too conventional for me. i'm pretty sure i checked out when i saw mc's maachan facial expression in one of the side stories. i'd power thru if cain or mc's best friend were bottoms.
