8.5 I absolutely loved the like initial 20 chapters. A solid 8.5 or even 9. But then I didn’t really like the direction of the plot. I mean as a whole I still enjoyed it a lot and read it in one sitting, but many aspects were really questionable and disappointing more down the line. I’m torn NOW coming back after s2 started and I’m obsessed again. I NEEED MOREEEE NOW. I miss our alien penthagon. It’s so messy I love it. It’s so chaotic and I never know where the plot will go but I’m absolutely here for the ride. It’s so freaking addicting and entertaining, I love it a lot. Definitely an 8.5 Update 2: This shit is tooooo good. It’s honestly one of my favorite reads rn. The funniest shit ever. You never know when the plot is going either. Too. Damn. Good It might even become a 9 LMAO

6.5/7 Idk why it’s tagged as shounen ai. There’s explicit smut from the start. The art is mehh. And the plot is also pretty meh, at least so far

8 The mc is so shameless, it's so iconic. He’s the master of bullshitting. No wonder it’s the same author of virgin witch. They really do feel related lmao It’s SO FUCKING FUNNY. This made me laugh soooo hard. It kinda reminds me of Single Not Ready to Mingle, but even better i think. There’s so many pop culture references it’s so fucking funny. “Wanna worship and chill” “fifty shades of abroria” And the religious dirty talk is so hawwwt. It feels so unholy to read lol, but really spicy eheheh The religious fanatism anecdotes are really poignant too. Chill inducing really. I hate the priest ml so much. He legit scares me I was reading it for shits and giggles. It was overall so light hearted and hilarious the whole time. But it suddenly shifted into such a heavy theme with the priest raping scenes. It broke me out in sobs…. the way the mc just tries to be complacent and gaslight himself that he’s not being raped since he knows he can’t escape either way so he’s trying to take back as little control as he can to survive through it. I’ve never seen such a triggering and raw insight into a victim’s mind during rape in BLs. I expected this to be a “turning your brain off” smutfest, but it sobered me right up. It’s so accurately written that makes it that much more triggering. It very accurately depicts PTSD from SA and what goes through a person’s mind while it’s occurring— which was completely unexpected from this series and well, made it incredibly triggering. I’m almost desensitized to rape in BLs since it’s so freaking common. For better or worse it’s usually romanticized the heck out of it, so you just kinda compartmentalize and be like “yaoi logic, just gotta turn off my brain for this one ig” But this time, it was so rawly depicted from the person’s being raped POV that it was sobering (and triggering)

9 THIS IS SO GOOD OMG. I really regret starting it this early. It’s seriously so good. Even though it’s certainly toxic, the plot is super interesting. I’m so invested. P.S. this was my gateway into guideverse and I LOVE IT HERE Rereads: 1

8 At first I was weirded out, and even dropped it for a few months. But then after watching the animated version at the discord's watch party, I felt tempted to pick it up again. And now I'm hooked lmao. It's still weird, kinky and morally dubious but I've grown fond of them lmao. Also I think the mc's weird sexual behavior stem from his trauma. There seems to be a certain depth beyond what first appears itself to be. It seems to have become a form of self harm. In fact, there’s way more mental health anecdotes into this than I expected (given this is, at a superficial level, just a completely perverted smutfest lmao). It's really funny, and cute and weird lmao. They are soooo wholesome I can't wait to see adult Demon King

8 This one was so good. Super adorable despite the mc being a yandere. The plot is quite interesting. All of my fave tropes together (isekai historical bl with a dating sim system). Wish there were more bls with these type of plots. I found the art fugly at first, but it grew on me and now I actually like it. especially the droopy eyes of iliya. I didn't like the ending tho. It was extremely rushed. Also we didn't even get a KISS ??? It's a korean manhwa so it's really unexpected. It might have reached an 8.5 if it weren't for that

8 I loved this one. I NEED ANSWERS. I completely understand why Mel and Hoax are obsessed with this one. The art is absolutely gorgeous. Seo-in especially is delightful to look at (until he opens his mouth that is lmaooo). The way the author draws lips is also top top tier. The lip bitting makes me bite my own
