8 This was such a solid sweet interesting and heart warming read. I loved so many things about it. The wing play was phenomenal (eheh wing play kinker here), and I loved the slow burn between the mc/ml!! The world setting was also very interesting and unique. Such Unique tone and temperature throughout the whole manhwa as well! The art was really pretty and consistent, and I’m a sucker for hybrid/shifter themes!!! I wish there were side stories tho (Godo w lil bro, mc having children, their marriage, etc)! There was still a lot of potential plot to explore imo. Also whilst I love slowburns, the overal plot pace was sometimes a bit slow— which is why I’m giving it an 8 instead of 8.5. That said I had a great time :D Finished (60 chapters)

8.5 Hmm there’s a lot of things I loved about this manhwa. But it’s a tad bit overrated tbh. First of all, at times I got annoyed by the romance subplot but it was also okay— kinda mixed feelings. What truly bothered me though was how Arthur had to constantly save Tess (like 5 times!?! Wth). It was giving too much damsel in distress (which I HATE), despite Tess supposedly being depicted as a really strong character. (Note a few chapters later: I’m glad this was explicitly brought up. Hopefully it won’t be this way going forward). And the training arc was a bit monotonous and boring. Ig the action in this webtoon is just overall more slow paced than most shounen But all and all it was plenty of fun! The art is absolutely gorgeous beyond s1. It was quite funny and interesting lore. I also quite liked the cultivation magical lore. It was explained to such a detailed extent and so interesting. The analogies drawn and the pace also felt very appropriate. Though ig I’m spoiled with super intense faster paced shounen, I found it refreshing in a sense and it felt more realistic. And I’ve seen many comments saying the best of tbate is still yet to be adapted, and that it gets muchhhh better. That said, I still enjoyed it plenty so far. I just crazy af expectations since it was always mentioned together with ORV and SL. Also, I’m disappointed with the art style change of s3. It feels like such a downgrade *sigh*

10 The bro-con is strong on this one! I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH. It’s so funny lol. And it’s so gay and omegaverse-coded. 10/10 I LOVE THIS ONE SO SO SO MUCH. The emotional depth. The caretaker themes are really pulling at my heart strings

8 At first I was weirded out, and even dropped it for a few months. But then after watching the animated version at the discord's watch party, I felt tempted to pick it up again. And now I'm hooked lmao. It's still weird, kinky and morally dubious but I've grown fond of them. Also I think the mc's weird sexual behavior stem from his trauma. There seems to be a certain depth beyond what first appears itself to be. It seems to have become a form of self harm. In fact, there’s way more mental health anecdotes into this than I expected (given this is, at a superficial level, just a completely perverted smutfest lmao). It's really funny, and cute and weird. They are soooo wholesome I can't wait to see adult Demon King

7 Obviously very problematic and rapey. But the actual plot has so much potential, I’m actually interested in knowing more. The art is also absolutely gorgeous. Def great shock value but still kinda hot at times P.S. who am I kidding. This is quite enjoyable if I turn off my brain just based on the art alone eheh (Wait for s2 end to reread)
