Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint
10 The plot is absolutely FIREEEEE. I felt all range of emotions. I sobbed, laughed like a maniac, I giggled, I gasped, I fangirled, I got super enthralled in the action scene and unfolding plot… it was truly a remarkable experience. Such a masterpiece I came across. I completely understand why it’s regarded so highly (and this comes from someone who has read a lot of game/system manhwas). The scene when he understood HE was the one that killed his father and his mother was protecting him this whole time HAD ME SOBBING REALLY UGLY. Greatest piece of fiction I have ever read I relate so hard to Kim Dokja, as a chronic “Dokja” myself. It hits pretty hard. I relate to him on a spiritual level damn. He's my animal spirit Also, for me Kim dokja x Yoo Jonghyuk are canon idc (though kdj is shippable with pretty much all characters)!
Solo Leveling
9 The leveling up is a bit too fast paced imo. I’d prefer a slower leveling up like Debut or Die So far the “reflective” one liners are kinda corny/overused “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” “If you look at the abyss for too long the abyss will look back at you” etc. It feels kinda gimmicky and cliche Also so far the plot progression is very linear and predictable. That said, it’s still quite enjoyable to read since seeing an underdog getting stronger through a shown progression manner is always incredibly satisfying! AND THE FIGHT SCENES ARE FUCKING EPIC️️️ truly phenomenal. Reading them is such an experience The fight scenes are absolutely phenomenal. So fucking thrilling to read! The harem coding annoys me tho It just keeps getting better and better The ending was a bit lame
Single Not Ready to Mingle
8 It’s so so much better than I expected. I thought it was just gonna be a In the castle 2.0 smut fest (I mean, I still enjoy that genre a lot lol) but it was actually also a really good isekai story. There’s so much satire of bl tropes it’s absolutely hilarious. It’s so unseriousssss, I love it. The smut is also pretty hot. And the mc has a fucking backbone. We love that. And surprisingly there’s also very touching moments between characters with sad backstories. As well as mystery elements regarding the OG hero, the dreams, the dif Aegio etc. I’m enjoying it so much more than I thought I would! HOWEVER I can’t stand purple hair. Every time I start feeling the slightest bad/empathetic towards him, he does something barbaric yet again to remind me why I hate him so much in the first place. I hated that the mc ended up just submitting to him smh. He ended up acting just like the mcs he was making satire of
Heartless
7.5 I’m not entirely sure how to feel about this one. It was dark, twisted and gory. It reminded me a lot of MADK (even though MADK is goated). I really enjoyed it, even tho there were some plot holes. And the art is absolutely stunning
Reincarnated into Demon King Evelogia's World
8 At first I was weirded out, and even dropped it for a few months. But then after watching the animated version at the discord's watch party, I felt tempted to pick it up again. And now I'm hooked lmao. It's still weird, kinky and morally dubious but I've grown fond of them lmao. Also I think the mc's weird sexual behavior stem from his trauma. There seems to be a certain depth beyond what first appears itself to be. It seems to have become a form of self harm. In fact, there’s way more mental health anecdotes into this than I expected (given this is, at a superficial level, just a completely perverted smutfest lmao). It's really funny, and cute and weird lmao. They are soooo wholesome I can't wait to see adult Demon King
The Affairs of the Other World Depend on the Corporate Slave
7.5 chapter 23 I surprisingly enjoyed this one a lot. The uke has a serious case of workaholism. But the anecdotes of his life being meaningless beyond the feeling of being productive at all times felt incredibly relatable. I also love the dynamics with the ml. It's such a refreshing story. It feels very sobering despite its fantastical setting due to the reversal of many stereotypical tropes. The mc is just kinda of a insignificant character with a work obsession. None of the chosen one themes or any thing of the sort.
Trapped in A Cursed Game As an NPC
7.5 Same author as ditoeftv. God tier art! And very interesting plot premise. But iffy translation in season 1 damped enjoyment, and the pacing was also quite off— especially in the first arc. There’s also a few plot holes and inconsistencies with the characters. Season 2 is more interesting so far. It has potential, but it has not been fully used so far There’s a lot of things I like abt it tho!!
I ♂ Took A Trip to an Otome Game
7 THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUSSSS. I loved that the ml NPCs were sentient. I wish it was explored further. The start was really entertaining but then it gets kinda dull. It was still a good read tho. The ending was really rushed
