7.5? I hate this man. He’s honestly unredeemable at this point. It hurts my heart that Dan Kim doesn’t realize he deserves so much better my pookie is so delulu that falls head over heels over him asking for his consent for the first time in the whole manhwa.. as if it’s something worth praising. Poor pookie truly deserved better. The art is gorgeous though!!! P.S. jerkyung is a very irrating specimen. But hopefully mingwa will make him GROVEL in s2. Also hals_draws’ fanart of jk bottoming has helped healing my soul eheh. All and all it’s still enjoyable even if annoying too lmao

9 I actually loveeed this one!!! So much more than I expected. It’s funny af (chapter 26 was one of the funniest shits I’ve read in a while). Super lighthearted, interesting plot (fairly new to me). And the chibi-shaped avatars have my heart!!!! The art is the most gorgeous thing!!! I also LOVE how they have opposite dynamics in game vs in person. ML keeps going after Neuta in the game despite being dumped 24/7… whilst *running for his life* every time he sees Neuta in person, like he’s the embodiment of the devil AHAHAHSH Reread: 1

7.5 or 8? Too early to rate. So far I quite like the uke, but also feel like he is too much talk and no bark. I hope he actually gets revenge on the top and doesn’t just let everything slide bc he catches feelings. I hope he becomes ruthless towards him. And so far I don’t like the seme at all

9.5 I don’t fully know how to feel about this one. It didn’t hook me in from the start, since the straight up rape was too much for me. But after picking it up again, I got seriously attached to the mc and the kid FUCK I LOST ALL I WROTE (come back and develop on this) (Wait to finish to reread whole thing)

8 This was such a solid sweet interesting and heart warming read. I loved so many things about it. The wing play was phenomenal (eheh wing play kinker here), and I loved the slow burn between the mc/ml!! The world setting was also very interesting and unique. Such Unique tone and temperature throughout the whole manhwa as well! The art was really pretty and consistent, and I’m a sucker for hybrid/shifter themes!!! I wish there were side stories tho (Godo w lil bro, mc having children, their marriage, etc)! There was still a lot of potential plot to explore imo. Also whilst I love slowburns, the overal plot pace was sometimes a bit slow— which is why I’m giving it an 8 instead of 8.5. That said I had a great time :D Finished (60 chapters)

8.5 The author is an absolute menace but I LOVED this one. One of the best psychological I’ve read so far, especially the first half of the story. Very satisfying. The plot was really intriguing and the tension was tensioning

8 I enjoyed this one way more than I thought I would. I put it off for so long, when it was actually quite enjoyable!!! Being b/w suited this piece. I liked the premise of the story and the main couple, but side couple was so scrumptious. I wish we got to see more of them!!! That uke was top tier eheh The art was beautiful as usual for Mingwa, and the shemgxy scenes were hot! The chasing arc was quite delightful

9 The vibes are truly unmatched. The angst, the yearning, the contradicting emotions. Ugh I love it. Also, The art style and overall tone of the manhwa reminds me of Low Tide in Twilight!! Perfection. It made me cry and relate to it very much. Especially when it came to the all consuming academic drive. A lot of anecdotes really resonated with me. I love the dynamic between mc and ml! Love me a whiny possessive power bottom, and the ml is such a golden retriever. I’m so happy my pookies are happy together now!! And that everyone is free from that pedo perv old man. I’m only not rating it higher bc very occasionally it got a bit slow paced/slightly boring. I put off finishing the side stories for a long time since I was not emotionally ready to let go. It’s bittersweet now that I finally finished reading it in its entirety. Checkmate will be missed I wish there were even more side stories, but the ending felt suitable
