Mr. 100% Perfect
-I'm gonna give this a ten because the story and art are really good, and generally speaking I really liked it... But I was deeply upset on how the author chose to depict and address all dub-con/non-con, specially with the first couple... I will talk about this later on. . There are two couples in this story: - Mr. 100% Perfect (Suk-yun) and Woo-in - first/main couple; - Yoonseol and Jungsoo - second couple, but it feels like they're actually main couple. . -> First couple's story is about getting back together and being your true self with your partner. Also dealing with each other's flaws and their own fears and past. They are absolutely in love with each other and most of the time it's a very cute couple. However, Mr. Perfect's anxiety is a problem for him and for their relationship since he starts being very rough during sex and it was clearly hurting the bottom. Also, from the moment the uke said stop/no that turned into abuse and that's is even easier to realize once we see that he passes out and is full of bruises latter. IMO it's actually sad that the author chose to put that in their story and then brushed it off under the rug... She actually wrote it in a way that kinda justifies his behavior and that's just baaaad. . Also, I know it's a common thing in BLs for bottoms to say stop/no/slow down (and so on) when they're feeling to much pleasure and their tops never stop. They keep going Cuz they "know" the bottoms are just overwhelmed by pleasure and in reality they don't wanna stop(?)... I ABSOLUTELY hate this cuz it's a bad way to portray sex and it doesn't show what CONSENSUAL sex is supposed to be! I'm somewhat used to reading it by now, but it always makes me uncomfortable and if something like thid happened in real life it would be horrible and mortifying... Since one cannot read other's thoughts, if someone says stop you should just stop and that's it. . However, in this particular story and that specific chapter, reading Woo-in saying stop/no (and so on) and Suk-yun going on even harder was just terrible... It wasn't the same as what we are used to see in others BLs, but actual sexual assault behavior... Woo-in was actually crying and he even mentioned that Mr. 100% Perfect not listening to what he asked for was kinda cruel. . I kept waiting for them to talk about it, but it took so long... And then when it actually happened it was not how it should have been! They were happy with each other afterwards, but as a reader their conversation was very unsatisfying and the whole situation/problem wasn't properly dealt with. . -> Second couple has a beautiful development and I really like how Yoonseol turns into a loving and caring partner. He grows a lot as a human being as well and it's nice to follow their story. Also, Jungsoo is such an amazing person... I love him! . There is a bit of dub-con for them as well and I really don't like how the author works it, but it's not as bad as with the main couple.
Full volume
The story itself is nice, but nothing new or mind-blowing. But I really liked the smut and the fact that both SEMEs are head over heels for their UKEs! I love how doting Dowon is and the fact that he is such a giver with Beon! =)
Kimi ni Ienai Koto ga Aru
Short, simple, sweet and lovely.
Polarity Frustration
Super cute one shot of an otaku seme and a popular uke. . Seme is very chill and mature. He is not influenced by people's opinion and chooses to do what he likes. He has been in love with uke forever (childhood friends) and confessed his feelings when he saw an opening. Uke on the other hand is always being influenced by others. He is kinda like a tsundere that has to figure out his feelings after being confessed to.
Sweet Crazy Days
7/10 Art is really nice, but story was just okay... Nothing fabulous! I didn't like the toxic aspect of the couple's relationship. . A stablished couple of 2 young adults (both are 25 yo) who have been dating for 8 years and living together for the last 3. Seme is a novelist. He is a daydreamer, totally insecure and depressing at times. He is a possessive, controlling and jealous boyfriend, but he also supports his boyfriend to follow his dreams. Uke is a patissier. He is kind, good looking and loves his bf just as he is. He is chill and doesn't mind avoiding situations that stress his partner, but he stand for himself (and don't give in to seme's controlling behavior) when/if he thinks it's necessary.
