this is tanaka senseis best work. my god. while i’m glad Maya didnt get a happy ending, one comment put it best. People put under these circumstances are just doomed to a life of misery and all the way to the end of his shitty life, bc he never had any proper care or schooling..nobody could even read his final thoughts/suicide note. that is just extremely tragic but also somewhat deserving but still just sad that he was a shadow his entire life. This was written beautifully and idk if i have the guts to read it again

it sucks that the seme is an absolute piece of shit bc this story is nice on its own if you don’t read the prequel. how disappointing
