Summary: "Don't give up without trying, accept the challenge!" Unmotivated high school student Noda Kouta decides to abide by his father's teachings and tackle the things in front of him. Summary: The story is about a boy named Izumi who goes to the graveyard to talk to his first love, Arima who has long since passed away. He talks to the tombstone before heading to school and meeting one of his classmates, Kurokawa. Kurokawa becomes interested in Arima and asks to join him for viewing Arima’s grave. They become interested in each other and start making out in various places. It becomes obvious that Kurokawa is a little bit of a strong lover. During one time when they’re at the graveyard, Izumi mentions that he has been coming to Arima’s grave for 3 years, which causes Kurokawa to snap into jealously and throw Izumi against the tombstone. The first scene of the manga becomes clear. Kurokawa takes care of the wounds that Izumi got when he threw him against the tombstone and for a bit it seems like they’re back to their normal lives. Then some things happen, sex, Kurokawa knocking out Izumi’s friend in the bathroom and Kurkawa knocks down and breaks the tombstone. Izumi then tells Kurokawa that he’s not there to hold onto the past like Kurokawa believes, but rather to be alone. Kurokawa leaves after this encounter, leaving Izumi alone. Izumi tries to look for him and finds Kurokawa talking to his mom, and seeing their strained relationships with each other. Izumi gets caught and runs away, only to be hit by a truck. Izumi gets hospitalized and when he recovers, he talks about Kurokawa and him getting together. Kurokawa attempts to kill Izumi in hopes of staying together forever until it ultimately fails. They reconcile and the last scene is them discussing how to fix Arima’s grave.
