i cant handle the ml’s personality at all. he’s too much of a red flag for me: making threats to our mc and has no morals. not only that, there’s some dubcon scenes that made me uncomfortable? and his idea of romance is so fucked up, i cant even find him and the mc to be the end game. and clearly the mc has more chemistry with the pretty lady. one of the main reason why im even continuing to read this is because im curious to see how this story ends (like the reason behind the village’s dark energy, will the ml become the next emperor or not?) theres some comedic elements too, but im solely staying cos of the ml’s subordinate: he’s such a breathe of fresh air and so relatable. i wish he has his own story, and if he does get one, it’ll probably be way better. anyway, idek how this has a 9.0 rating
story tldr: ml is in a quest, alongside w his mage subordinate and mc, to find a magic flower that enables anyone to conceive children (regardless of age/gender) as he doesnt want to be next in line to the throne
