He knows main with jeweled eyes is his enemy to get rid of his power source and tries to consume her as main is trying to figure out how to stop this demonic stone from growing and infecting others Ch 40 ohh so mains mom clan is called judar. Judars are usually the ones with jewel eyes and they r kindhearted with no human complex emotions. When main looked at the eye of another jeweled, they saw their memories. The boy with blue jewels is actually a human orphan and he found jeweled eyes and he impersonating a jeweled person. He doesnt understand main as someone kind bc he doesnt know jeweled eyes of judar are naturally kind and main was confused why he is showing emotions and pretending Ch 31 the emperor's brother knows of mains mother and her clan. He filled the details of the clan to emperor and bc main is born outside of that clan with a human and not within their clan of eternal life, they will see main as a traitorous being to be eliminated Ch 24 there r demonic stones that accumulate over time due to lots of dead lives. So it is to this point a demonic stone will activate and cause sickness to humans. Only those with jeweled eyes can see these demonic stones and destroy them. Emperor tries to find alternative ways for the stones to be found without his daughters involvement but doesnt sound possible and if no help, then innocents would be harmed Ch 20 I don't like one of the incident examples. It doesn't cause that blame based on sexuality. Anyways, those with jewel eyes had different powers but bc of greed, ppl take advantage of jeweled eyes. The priest is asking emperor to have main under protective custody at the temple where main can use her powers for good and not by greedy politics and outside sources. But emperor doesn't know if the temple has some ulterior motives and doesn't want to give his newly acquired daughter up for her exposed to politic struggles. She's too young and she just got along with her new family when she was raised alone Ch 19 the temple got a prophecy that a person with jewel eyes will have the power to see spirits and inner being to save others from demon hearts. They know know of demon hearts but they did observe that a child, new princess of the imperial family has those eyes but they aren't entirely sure so they will observe.
