So they needed mains ability to be a pain in the butt and doing his job so efficiently and thoroughly to bring down the big fish, which happens to be a former district attorney lawyer who is very greedy for money and evading taxes Ch 10 main recognized some ppl still working at his old company r still employed and knows something fishy is going on even after he reported them. Ch 7 recap, main managed to complete his first case of tax evasion within the tax department bc main had used his favor after 2 months. The man asks main is that's how he wanted to use his favor and main said yes bc he doesn't like being looked down by superiors that r breaking the law and he needs help. It was a sort of test the man made and purposefully led main to that office department bc they had suspicion of tax evasion from higher ups and they needed someone ruthless and justice focused that won't be bribed. They hope to have main as their blade to do whatever but main needs assurance that as a blade that he will do so without consequences that would make him be punished or anything. The tax higher ups want a cleanup with mains help Ch 2 main met a mystery man who helped talk to main about what he wants to do. Main was surprised the man had no tax evasion numbers with his ability. The man offers his help once but hopes main can become a good civil servant. Main struggled bc he was fired for being a whistle-blower against his company VP for tax evasion but it's bc he wants to get rid of those toxic ppl who abuse the system and he wants to protect those who don't need to be overly taxed

. On ch 30 Ch 23 general knows his personality will go away long with memories, he does confide with main and main confirms they didn't get along in the past. General wants to make good memories that they couldn't do before his personality change as a last memory before he disappears. General had a feeling something was up when he kept mentioning being lovey and mentioning having kids and main avoided him but won't say much, as if to keep a distance. Ch 2 ahh so main feels responsible for putting himself in this situation. He was raised as a rich kid and was very arrogant. He used his father's connections to force general into marriage, but mains feelings were never reciprocated.
