. On ch 19 Ch 16 the royal family has power but since the return of the hero, ppl like to look to the hero as the new leader and question who has more power. The king and queen dont like their power being questioned and tried to spread rumors against the duke hero family. Main dispute the kings words and tells him they know what their plan is and that since they are powerful with a hero, ppl would squish the rumors, but if they spread how the imperial family hates the duke hero family, then the ppl would hate that and probably rebel Ch 17-18 explains the imperial family's desire to summon spirits. But they cant bc their ancestor did despicable things to ppl just to summon the spirit. By doing so created a curse on the royal family and spirits hate hearing the curse cries and avoids them
