Not new world. Main gets very detailed dreams that end up coming true. She saw a route in life where she was abused from marrying an old nobleman. To avoid that route, she chose the feared duke with a contract marriage to get both what they wanted. She gets security away from her feared future while the Duke doesnt get bothered with a politically annoying wife that wants only wealth and fame, which the main doesnt care for. Bc the main was the 16th princess and mostly forgotten, she would have been sold later on. So she took the initiative and choose her spouse to protect herself. Since she was alone, she can take care of herself with chores and cooking. Shes a bit weirded out by having helping maids after she eventually got the contracted marriage. The duke slowly liking main bc she is different from other spoiled princess that want wealth and fame.
Ch 42 "hugo" the duke side of the story of their twin tragedy. Hugo was the twin chosen to be heir but was too king hearted so the duke tried to switch with the twin he abandoned. Hugh hated the duke but went along for his brother. In turn hugo too for his brother. Hugh is posing as hugo bc of his current agenda to pass the duke role to damien (adoptive son?) so that the duke can leave the place he never wanted.

Their characteristics are cruel and about power but were considered not noble bc of human blood mixed in them. But overall history, they did become powerful but are hard to breed males in the family.
The twins were lucky to be male, but their dad was cruel in greed of power and favored one of the twins.
