It is public knowledge with the knights but emperor still likes main despite that. But a little sad. The nobles kept pushing for him to be married so he will take concubines for political obligation and peace, condition that any one who produces an heir with him will be named empress. But that is set up by the emperor to appease the nobles but really the emperor knows he will not sleep with them so the heir part will be his control of not sleeping with anyone bc he has main in his heart
