Gaitou Alice
i like the plot a lot, i have a thing for alice's wonderland. that, the roles assigned to each character is great. this manga could have been great, wished they continued it.
The Devil's Boy
i love this manhwa, the art is amazing. i love a good concept that involved catholic mythology, anything angel or demon is just interesting. the ending was a shock, it got me, did NOT expect that. i wish it was longer, i miss the protagonist. i wish i could see more of him, i think hes adorable. i wish we got to see more of the demons, angels, maybe the big man himself. god?
Pygmalion
in the beginning i was HOOKED. i was like oh shit this is it, its horror with the hint of playfulness batshit crazy and supernatural. i liked the concept and it did not pull through. the art was amazing but it was too fast, not enough content.
refund high school
this was very cute and kinda eye opening. it makes me happy that aru and mook liked each other but it made me really sad they didnt end up together in the end. mook is really the goat tho saving aru in the end. saving her and letting her live the life she wanted. letting her have happiness with out him. this makes me so sad that he didnt really find that happiness for himself even tho he saved her, he didnt get an ending.
Apocalypse No Toride
this was a good horror. it didnt really pack a punch tho, it was just like omg i didnt do that murder omg oh no im in jail and my cell mates are scary. omg theres a virus outside that turns everyone batshit crazy or said in the manga "evolutionize" everyone and every animal. it was the basic we need to survive, cell mates turn into comrades and friends, a character that was important dies which triggers the main character power thing to activate or something, oh i forgot pissing off the enemies first by doing something stupid bc of the unknown, almost getting killed by them, seeing a connection between the protagonist and antagonist, fighting/ hating yourself bc you see the similarity, using the power/ ability for your benefits, killing or restraining the enemy, a cure has been made, a new world thing happened, in the end humans continue living their lives. it was pretty basic, i dont regret reading this.
Ascendance of a Bookworm
at first it was fresh. it was different and new with the goals in the another world with the making of books and just making a evolution to a shit tons of things. at the end it dragged a little. i cant wait to read the second series and see what kinda of things she improve in this age.
Truth or Dare
the concept of this world is very interesting to me. its a totally new concept to me so i didnt realize this manhwa wasnt exactly normal. a world where theres only one type of verbal response to any questions, the truth. no lies can be said. you can still communicate with lies with other ways. although that's false because there are people who are called dares, they are types of people that the normal humans of this world only known from textbooks. theyre special because they have the ability to tell the truth and to tell a lie, they also are able to exchange their abilities via kiss. you can also tell if someones a dare or a truth by looking on the tip of their tongue for a t or a d. dares hide their abilities from the world. theres one kid with a disability though, he can only tell lies. he used a dare to commit a crime, tricking the dare to kiss them exchanging the abilities. though justice won and the plot ended happily.
