Like a Tidal Wave - from Pheromone Shower
Oh, I love this one so much. It's adorable and fun. This gets A+ for sexy times from me and additional brownie points for switch (albeit it was only a few times but it was great to see).
Reversible BL
I love this one-shot so much. This is one of the only yaoi mangas I've come across that has actual, proper switch/reversible couple. And I tell you, this is as switch as it gets folks. Of course, I lament the lack of more chapters, but simultaneously I'm grateful for its very existence. Kudos to the mangaka. I truly liked this piece of work.
Boku No High Spec Kareshi-sama
Oh, this is so much fun. I highly recommend this. The comedy is on point and the omega being the seme is a welcome change of scenery. The characters themselves, both the main couple and side characters just do it for me. It made me laugh, it made me cringe, feel second hand embarrassment and fluttery all at the same time. Reading this is time well-spent. I'm biased, but this is a must read. (On a related note: Fans of 'Please be my first boyfriend' are sure to enjoy this and vice-versa)
Murderer Llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation
This one speaks for itself, don't judge it by the cover and just read it. You will not regret it. Top tier stuff, really. A must-read for BL readers that enjoy their meals with a garnishing of trauma, angst and suspense. An impossible love story about forbidden friendship in guise of a long, winding journey with it's tastefully cruel twists and turns - one that I have savoured and thoroughly enjoyed. But, more than that, one that has managed to add a whole new dimension to my worldview. I absolutely love this because, unlike many others, it is so unique in its way of retelling and reinforcing something that needs to be recited time and again until the end of times: Omnia vincit amor (love conquers all). Because what is love, if not forgiving yourself through the other? Verdict: The tale of Murderer Llewellyn is worth its weight in gold - perhaps much more than that (the reviewer is openly biased). Kudos to the author and the artist, and much thanks to the translators and uploaders for bringing this tale to the masses. [I am shooketh still, and most definitely returning for a reread] Oh, and for those who need it: trauma, ptsd, abuse, attempted assault, killing, murder (none between the main characters though)
