under-appreciated and good! Story of a goody-two-shoes honor student coming to terms with his sexuality and falling in love with a jaded, damaged and rebellious classmate. The love is very pure despite it all. Everything is not fine, a realistic take on young gay romance in the 90s. A lot of internalized homophobia. There is a subplot dealing with HIV/AIDs that was quite good. As an queer person and 90s child, I could appreciate what this story is trying to do.
Yatteraneeze!
