i want more! listen say what you want about this and how messy it is but the concept is such a slay i am so enraptured by this idea it will be a favorite of mine for a long time. its so fascinating and weird and creepy. i wish the love/hate dichotomy was more understood and the backstory was evened out a bit more but this goes craaaaazy i am such a fan.

honestly for what it is it's really sweet. the art is stunning and the characters aren't too bad. the sideplot about the grandmother was genuinely really heartwarming?? i think personally im just always going to be iffy on. you know. him being part DOG? but. its not terrible. i've certainly read worse.

SUPER CUTE, really fun, just good clean wholesome goodness. except for the nsfw stuff but like who cares its so sweet. they are both so adorable. idk man. i would love a sequel but it doesn't need it. excellent use of the time it had. no complaints really???

honestly super good? again it's sad this doesn't get more time to breathe and dive into internalized homophobia and everything, but for a one shot it is paced really well? again i just want MORE i just wish this was expanded because for what it is it's EXCELLENTLY done!!!

its ok! i feel like i would be more positive about this if i hadn't. actually been to masaii villages. and nairobi. its nice seeing things that feel familiar but also there is no way in hell he would get over all of that interalized shit so fast. but maybe i'm insane. also luca def feels whitewashed which is crazy. but the art is pretty?? its not bad.

cute :) shinto/buddhism rep is always a plus. they are very adorable. this author literally slays all the time. ugh im so into it. their dynamic is so good. i wish we got to spend more time with the characters tho.
