Same author as Monster. I‘ll give it a try Started on Monday, I‘m currently chap 62 (ik I‘m slow af). Well, it’s Urasawa, of course it’s great duh Edit: Chap 130, idk why the hell I didn’t write the date on the previous update, but rn it’s the 18th of june. Love it) Edit: Chap 183. I‘m literally binge reading it right now. OMG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Will definitely be at least in my top 10! Geeeeeez I hope I‘ll finish reading it in a few days. But actually, I don’t wanna finish this masterpiece, it’s just so ducking good. And OH MY, what’s with the faceless Fukubei? And I feel so sorry for Sadakiyo, literally has the kindest soul. A lot of the characters are really likeable, love them all. Edit: I just finished it. It’s not finished yet, there’s 21th Century Boys. Bro, it was so fucking great. Incredible, I have no words. My thoughts: I hate Fukubei and this one psycho friend, mainly because they were so mean towards my Sadakiyo-hun. God, I love the story writing. Also, friend is one of the coolest antagonists in manga history. Urasawa never disappoints! …well, let’s see what I think when I finish reading 21th Century Boy. (22.06.24) Edit: Geez… I still think about it a lot. I‘ve read some articles about it and now I understand it more. It’s really complicated, y‘all should watch an Analyse. I love my Sadakiyo-honey<3 but now for real, he‘s my comfort character, I just love him so much! (26.06.2024)

[spoiler] I‘m really, really confused. I mean, I usually am when I read one of Urasawa‘s masterpieces. Some questions: Fukubei did die, but when? Did he jump off the school building (last chap) or when he was pushed off the roof on Bloody New Year’s Eve? Who was the other kid with the mask which was NOT Sadakiyo? Did he get plastic surgery? Did he imitate Fukubei, or was he maybe his twin? Who died back then on the roof? Do Kanna and Fukubei really have superpowers or is it just a trick? When Fukubei looked in the mirror, he was faceless, was that who later became friend? Is it like a dark side of him (as if he wasn’t already messed up enough lmao)? Who was the girl that died in the first chap in 20th Century Boys? How did Fukubei get so messed up? Fukubei was really shocked when he first saw his faceless face under the mask, did maybe the mask split him? So many questions TwT I loved this manga so much, such a great story and storytelling! And it’s really easy and nice to read:) It was really confusing but also hella exciting! Sadakiyo-hun, you are my favorite character<3 (23.06.24)
