[spoiler] I‘m really, really confused. I mean, I usually am when I read one of Urasawa‘s masterpieces. Some questions: Fukubei did die, but when? Did he jump off the school building (last chap) or when he was pushed off the roof on Bloody New Year’s Eve? Who was the other kid with the mask which was NOT Sadakiyo? Did he get plastic surgery? Did he imitate Fukubei, or was he maybe his twin? Who died back then on the roof? Do Kanna and Fukubei really have superpowers or is it just a trick? When Fukubei looked in the mirror, he was faceless, was that who later became friend? Is it like a dark side of him (as if he wasn’t already messed up enough lmao)? Who was the girl that died in the first chap in 20th Century Boys? How did Fukubei get so messed up? Fukubei was really shocked when he first saw his faceless face under the mask, did maybe the mask split him? So many questions TwT I loved this manga so much, such a great story and storytelling! And it’s really easy and nice to read:) It was really confusing but also hella exciting! Sadakiyo-hun, you are my favorite character<3 (23.06.24)

[spoiler] Started reading on the 26th of June. I like it so far, I mean it’s Urasawa… I really like the MC too:) I‘m kinda slow in reading rn, but now I’ll start binge reading it. I heard, it’s even better than 20th Century Boys (*'▽'*) I already read: Monster & 20th Century Boys. When I finish this, I‘ll decide what’s my fav. In the beginning it was really confusing with the constant perspective change, but I kinda got used to it cuz Urasawa likes to use it. Chap 44, Let’s see~ (30.06.2024) Chap 70… idk but rn it isn’t good at all, it’s just confusing, not even gud:/ that’s why I‘m not binge reading it anymore. I think it’ll get better but for now… (04.07.2024) It’s fucking great again, just started reading again chap 91 (22.07.2024) Ayoooooo chap 139, Imma continue right after I wrote this. BRO THIS IS SUCH A MASTERPIECE, IT GIVES ME 20THCB VIBESSSSS omg rn it’s sooooo shocking! Timmy doesn’t really see the bat? WHAAAAAT? Will there be 9/11? OmgGGGGGG it’s so fucking great right now! BRUH, IT SHOULD HIT TWIN TOWERS IN CHICAGO, BUT NO, WE GOT 9/11 heeeeere OMFGGGGGGG and btw I listened to „still life“ by sitcom, the music dropped on the exact right fucking moment. Masterpiece. Love it. Chap 140 (24.07.2024) I cried. Just finished it. I listened to „army dreamers“ by Kate bush as I read the last chapters, it fit really well. The last story about the two soldiers was so damn sad… War is horrible. These aren’t „enemies“, they‘re people, they‘re humans, they‘re fathers, they‘re sons… It didn’t really make sense ngl, but I wasn’t disappointed. It’s always confusing when you read Urasawa, just read a few articles and then you‘ll understand fully, same with monster & 20thcb. Billy bat wasn’t as easy to read as 20thcb but holy shit I loved it. (24.07.2024)
