Her ShimCheong
This might be one of my greatest read ever. It hurt so bad and is a huge eye opener to women's suffering in history. It's realistic and so well-written. It makes you angry, it makes you sad and it definitely makes you pessimistic about life and its meaning but it's also beautiful and relatable. It hurt so bad reading this, it was whole rollercoaster ride and god it was horrible ride where I almost fell out of my seat but we made it! I am gonna sob now. As I pointed out previously about its realistic themes, it's a very hard read because most of this story is truly how women like us suffered in the past, had their names deleted in history, reduced to mere wives and married off at young age, the rituals that seems to only be there to hurt women. It's so real and that is why this kind of read is something that sticks with you, it's beautiful and very hard to get through. I come to read here to escape reality but seems even fiction is wonderful showcasing our disgusting world. Seriously, props to the author, this was amazing!
