I thought they would go somewhere interesting with it, but 48 chapters in, I see it's only an excuse to allow the Male Lead to abuse the Female Lead with a clear conscience (barely that, since he's been told she doesn't have her memories.) Then her dad even tries to save her from being married to her abuser and she's fucking shrugs. Done.
