I just couldn’t get into it. There’s so many stories similar to this one that was executed better tbh…. It just felt cringe with the whole character trope of I need to be perfect get good grades for my mum oh but I’m sad but you belong to me but I don’t like you but I do yada yada. Skipped around to see if it got better and it never did so hopefully it doesn’t but doubt it.
