I don't understand what the problem is with starting a super toxic relationship and then having it become healthy, Vivarium is no different, the beginning is (like every BL) quite disturbing involving kidnapping and rape, but then I ended up getting attached to the broken couple they became, Both characters grew up or became broken, but by coming together they were able to live a normal and healthy life.
