Atsushi admits he's in love with Masato, though unlike a lot of manga within this genre he actually respects Masato by not touching him immediately after saying so. In fact, he doesn't touch him at all and just puts it into the world, and waits for Masato to decide. Things are undefined at this point, right until the point where Masato decides to kiss him...
